Well, not typical for my kind of photography.
Not at all. No. Clarissa had this idea and suprised me with it. It was kind of weird taking the picture, I didn't feel comfortable at all. I mean, it hurts even when you look at it! But she liked the idea and so I took the picture. Today I was in the mood to postprocess it. She went through the pain, so I think it was worth treating it. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-05-02Rubber band face. by ~Be-at deconstructs the human face in such a straight forward way, but with very visually arresting results! Manipulation of the human face into beautiful monstrosity certainly fits the bill of surreal, especially when presented in the form of a high contrast, close up portrait.
